I love filmmaking because it's able to communicate messages in so many different forms. The elements that make up the sound and image of a film can tell you so much without you even noticing. I love every part of it, but one of my favorites has to be lighting. The way lighting shapes faces, rooms and emotion is absolutely fasciating to me. Which is why it's the subject I chose to specialize in throughout my film studies.  Now I'm looking for more opportunities to join the lighting deparments of productions and continue improving my gaffing skills. 

Besides lighting I also love to write, direct and get involved in the entire filmmaking process. I want to create things I want to see in the world, things that create social change and promote ideas of sustainability and equality. I've recently made three short films that tried to do exactly that:  'My Wandering Pen', 'Captivated' and 'Hope this helps'.
